It has some very caracteristic features, which might be helpful for identification of other Pöllmanns.

Illsend You the pics right away. 1949 makes sense . the label is printed in 1948 I think.

I read the first letters as Pauxxxx.

In a guitar for sale there is a label with the following text :

Musikinstrumenten- Genossenschaft
Markneukirchen / SA
Handwerkmeister Vereinigung
Oe . 11. 04. 48
Meister 194 and then an unreadable signature.


Anyone here who knows who that meister was ?

I am looking for guitars similar to this small Goldon "Solist" . Most Goldons were probably made by Ammon Meinl, but this one is not I think. I know at least one more from the same unknown maker labeled as Goldon "Juwel". More pics and stuff here . Also more typical DDR flattopped schlaggitarren is ...
