violin made by "William Lewis and Son"
Can you help me find out if a violin made by "William Lewis and Son" made in Germany. Has any value, could it be a collectors item? Actually we are thinking of purchasing this instrument for our grand daughter to take lessons on.

You have to show the violin a violinmaker. Do you know about the problems with the labels?
