Re: Dreima ?

Thanks so much, Hannes. This might confirm my theory about Dreima as a hardware maker.

Re: Dreima ?

It looks like a beautiful early flat-top schlaggitarre, Lauxlot. I guess it would be made before the '50s. In fact all the (few) guitars I know with Dreima engarved hardware look like prewar guitars. Hope you manage to repair that bowed neck. The missing bridge is not a big problem (though historica...

Re: Dreima ?

If I remember well, I think I've only saw the Dreima logo engarved on tailpieces (saitenhalter) from a few guitars sometimes with another name anywhere else on the guitar. This makes me think that only the hardware is Dreima.

Where is the Dreima logo on your guitar?

Hey, Herr Neudel! Do you remember anyone at Bachmann's workshop with a similar name?

Re: Migma Meister

Hey, Stefan. You know the very same schlaggitarren builders I know from the Migma. I guess there must be some more we still don't know. I don't think Kreul or Wander were the builders. Todt and Seifert might be, but the most similarities I found are on Max Zimmer guitars. Of course, I'm not sure at ...

Thanks a lot, Stefan.

I think Harmonie is a trader brand. Harmonie guitars are really dissimilar in so many aspects to think they come from a single builder.

Re: Was ist das für eine Gitarre? eine Plektrumgitarre?

Everytime I see one of these schlaggitarren I always wonder why most of them look so similar. The same hardware, the same bridges, the same pickguards, the same shaped necks... This leds to think that many builders bought bulk parts from the same suppliers. Has this hypotheis make some sense? Stelol?

Re: Was ist das für eine Gitarre? eine Plektrumgitarre?

Hallo Fab. Excuse me for answering in English. I have very little info about Harmonie. As far as I know, Harmonie was a Vogtland trader dealing with guitars from different manufacturers. I don't know who were their suppliers for now. Most harmonies I know aren't top quality instruments. Your guitar ...

Migma Meister

Can anyone identify the maker of this Migma? http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll75/asacopeich/2.jpg It has the Migma Meister label inside, but no name on it. I would like to know who made it if possible. It would be the case of a pencil sign wich faded along the years and become not readable anymo...

Re: "ALPIMA" Albin Ludwig Paulus suche Info´s!

Hi Stefan. I have pictures of a single Albin L. Paulus guitar. It has a label inside and something engarved at the bottom of the top plate, but cannot read it. Cannot say that is Alpima. Check this pics. [img=http://s2d1.turboimagehost.com/t/271617_Paulus_1.jpg] [img=http://s2d1.turboimagehost.com/t...
